Scope and Contents
This collection contains material from Thomas Falls time as a priest in the Archdicoese of Philadelphia. The material covers his time as a professor as well as pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Havertown. A bulk of the collection covers the Legion of Mary and reports from Vatican II. The collection also contains writings and papers by Falls from his time as a professor. Series I contains his lettes and papers as well a the material on the Legion of Mary. Series II contains printed matieral from Vatican II, coving drafts of committee reports. The bulk iof the material is in Latin. Series III contains misc journal publications and newsapers.

Biographical / Historical
Thomas Falls was born in 1907 and ordained on December 4, 1932. He served as a professor at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary from 1934 to 1955 and as pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Havertown from 1955 to 1982. He also served as Spiritual Director of the Legion of Mary from 1961 to 1998.
